چکیده
The journal “ESAIM: Control Optimization and Calcul of Variations”, funded by Jean-Michel Coron and Jean-Pierre Puel in 1995, and which has been directed by Jean-Michel from 1995 to 2002, was obviously the best journal to carry out this initiative. We thank the Editorial Board for granting us the permission to create this special volume and the whole staff of the journal for their kind help in this task.
